Step One: Add a Template File to the ShellNew Folder. The first thing we need to do is to create a new file in the program we want to add to the menu. For example, we created a new file in GIMP and set the size of the image to the size we want new images to be by default. We saved our GIMP file as template.xcf. Exact matches only. Search in title. Search in title.
I’m sure you all have special folders on your PC that you’ll want to be accessed as easy as possible . Thanks to the Send to Toys freeware tou can now do that from your contextual menu .
Once I have too many items on my desktop or in my download folder I typically go on a cleanup spree, moving all of these items into appropriate folders on my computer’s hard drive. “Send to Any” allows you to add any number of folders to Windows’ right-click send-to menu, allowing you to quickly move or copy items to your favorite folders no matter where you are or what files or folders you are working with, and making the “send to” menu infinitely more useful as a consequence. Also, the “send to” menu seems to be exactly where these folders ought to be. So all you have to do is to install this freeware and you’re good to go.
Download it from here!
If you’re having trouble finding the install just hit CTRL+F and type send to toys . The download link is positioned on the right side at the bottom of the product . I only added this additional information ’cause the typing was actually really small.
The installation is quite easy . Just hit next a couple of times (No additional configurations).
Now there isn’t any available tutorial for this program so i’ll take a tour of the configuration file : Configure send to toys
This file you will find with your search engine from startup. If you’re on Windows Xp just go to -> All programs->Configure send to toys . It should be on the upper side of your start menu in All programs as a separate file(it is not included in a folder).
Run the file and it will open a simple window like the one below.
The window has 4 tabs . The first tab shows you what you already have on your Send to contextual menu . You can use the add / remove buttons to add or remove folders or applications on your system .
The second tab deals with common problems related to transfer files .
It is very useful to check the Open destination on completion checkbox , so you can check your results .And you can also check which radio button pleases you the most . The 4 radio buttons asks you which folder you should have on your send to-> folder (option) . So , for example if you check the first radio button you will have the last folder used for transfering files . In case you haven’t used yet , it will open with a management file system similar to Windows explorer .
The Clipboard(the third one) tab shows you some of the great options for the “Send to Clipboard (as name)” item… you can choose whether or not you want quotes, and whether you want files to be separated on different lines, if you send multiple files to the clipboard.
The Default Mail Recipient tab (the fourth tab)helps you choose a default mail adress where you can send files. The idea is that you can specify a single mail recipient to send a file to. If you want to have a default mail recipient than complete the to field with a valid adress mail (for test) . To use this feature go to a file , make a right click ->send to -> mail recipient . This will open your default client mail on Windows (for example Outlook) and if you already completed a e-mail adress on the fourth tab , that adress will appear on your mail client .
Cnet review
This freeware allows you to easily send your files anywhere within your computer, although the program lacks a help file for beginners. After installation, users can configure where they want files to be moved to. Afterward, the program creates a tabbed Control Panel applet allowing you to add and remove folders or programs in the Send To menu.
The program then sits idly by until you right-click a file or folder. It can then be accessed in the Send To menu. Move your files or folders anywhere you like: the Clipboard, the command prompt, the Quick Launch menu, the Recycle Bin, and the Run command dialog box.

We found it easier to manage our files with this program, as it extends Send To menu capabilities. All users can try this application that simply extends the reach of the Send To menu.

Contextual Menus
A contextual menu, or shortcut menu, gives people access to frequently used commands related to the current context. A contextual menu is revealed by Control-clicking a view or selected element in an app. For example, Control-clicking selected text in TextEdit displays a contextual menu containing text-specific menu items for initiating actions like changing the font and checking spelling.

Always follow menu design best practices. In general, all menus and menu items should be consistently arranged and titled. See Menu Anatomy.
Include only the most commonly used commands that are appropriate in the current context. For example, in the contextual menu for selected text, it makes sense to include editing commands but it doesn’t make sense to include a Save or Print command.
Limit the hierarchical depth of contextual menus to one or two levels. Submenus in contextual menus can be difficult to navigate without accidentally dismissing the contextual menu. If you must include submenus, restrict them to a single level.
Don’t set a default item in a contextual menu. If the user opens the menu and closes it without selecting anything, no action should occur.

Always make contextual menu items available in the menu bar too. A contextual menu is hidden by default and a user might not know it exists, so it should never be the only way to access a command. In particular, avoid using a contextual menu as the only way to access an advanced feature. See Menu Bar Menus.
Show keyboard shortcuts in menu bar menus, not contextual menus. Contextual menus are already shortcuts to task-specific commands; it's redundant to display keyboard shortcuts too.
Use an Action pop-up button to elevate contextual menu functionality. You can use an Action pop-up button to provide app-wide contextual menu functionality in a toolbar. For example, people can use the Action pop-up menu in the Finder toolbar to access the same commands found in a selected item’s contextual menu. See Action Pop-Up Buttons.
